    OSU Extension family and consumer sciences (FCS) gives people the knowledge, skills and tools needed to make healthy, informed choices. We teach and promote safe food practices, better nutrition, better finances and better relationships – helping people acquire the knowledge and skills to make smart decisions in these areas.

  5. Lawrence County 4-H Members camp at the Elizabeth L. Evans Outdoor Education Center owned and operated by, Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp, Inc.. It is located in the heart of Southeastern Ohio’s natural beauty, in Jackson, OH. If you enjoy nature, you’ll love all that our camp has to offer at its 351-acre facility. There is something for everyone at Canter’s Cave. We provide a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors in a modern facility that is keeping up with today’s changing world.

  6. 4-H CARTEENS is a traffic safety program conducted by 4-H teen leaders and their program partners for juvenile traffic offenders. 4-H CARTEENS goals include:

    EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) is a free nutrition education program offered in several counties in Ohio for low-income adults with children and youth. Program assistants use interactive discussions and hands-on activities to guide participants through a series of meetings aimed at improving the total family diet and nutritional well-being.

    Our Purpose
    To teach life skills to 4-H youth through the shooting sports curriculum and activities that will enable boys and girls to reach fullest potential as capable, caring and contributing citizens.
