Major Changes

Christmas Parade 4-H Promotion
Some local clubs participated in the Ironton and Coal Grove Christmas Parades to help promote 4-H.  A big thank you goes out to the Andis Cornhuskers, Barn Busters and Country Critters.

Also, a pat on the back to the Barn Busters for promoting 4-H with their cart goat project, Duke.

New Food Booth Requirements

Due to the decreasing numbers of 4-H clubs, but a trend to larger enrollments in the clubs, not all food booth shifts are being filled. The 4-H Committee is making it mandatory for ALL clubs to work one shift in the food booth in order to receive fair passes for members and advisors.

Also, clubs with 35 or more members must work two food booth shifts. It has been found that clubs with 10 to 15 members can work a shift adequately so clubs with 35 or more members can divide their clubs members and parents to work two shifts. Sign up dates for club food booth shifts will be announced.
