  • Involves over 6000 county youth in 57 Community 4-H clubs, school clubs, after school malls and special interest groups  led by 240 adult volunteers.
  • We offer over 200 different 4-H projects.

Fair Arrives

The Lawrence County Junior Fair begins July 7th and runs through July 14th. Visit the County Fair link to see the many fun activities available. The Junior Fair Board will be sponsoring Cornhole Tournaments for 4-H and FFA members.

The Junior Fair Board is also selling 4-H Travel Chairs for $20. National has run out of stock of these chairs and will not be reordering. So, get the last ones.

April 1st is the Fair Participation Enrollment Deadline

Youth can join 4-H anytime, however, in order to compete at the 2007 Lawrence County Fair, youth must be members in a 4-H club by April 1. Contact the office if you would like to join a 4-H club at 533-4322.

ATTENTION: ALL YOUTH THAT RESIDE IN ANOTHER COUNTY AND WANT TO BELONG TO LAWRENCE COUNTY 4-H MUST TURN IN A CROSS COUNTY LINES APPLICATION IMMEDIATELY

Anyone youth not residing in Lawrence County, but wanting to belong to 4-H in Lawrence County MUST IMMEDIATELY submit a cross county lines application. This must be done every year and be approved. Also, any Lawrence County youth wanting to participate in another county 4-H program MUST request permission every year before April 1st.
